REFLECTION TASK 2B: THE SONG: Back to Black by Amy WİNEHOUSE

The song name of which is Back To Black, is written and published in 2006. It is a song that has the same name with the album. It was written by Amy Winehouse. The song has a story actually. It was written and composed after Amy Winehouse had faced with hardships in her life. Amy Winehouse has a different perspective in this song unlike some songs in her album. Due to fact that she broke up with her lover whose name is Blake lively, the song was full of angry, hopeless emotions. The story of song began with the abandonment of her lover. She actually was crazy about and loved him so much; however he cheated her. When they started their relationships at first, Blake got her to use drugs. She started to use drugs and became addict. While they were living together, suddenly Blake deserted home and went back to his ex. Amy who had an addiction to Blake, gained more addictions like alcohol, cigarettes, different drugs. She was wanted to go rehabilitation; however she did not want to. She lost lots of kilos. Even when she was in her concert, she was trying to sing but she fell down the floor or could not complete her songs in the concert. After these events in her life, she began to publish a new album whose name was Back to Black. In my opinion it is relevant since the composer, or singer is affected by her\his experiences and s\he also reflects emotions to his\her songs like Back to Black. I like the way that she writes and sings songs. She clearly describes her bad situation in Back to Black. For example, according to one of the quotation in the song, Amy says: I died a hundred times .You go back to her and it means that she went to black and darkness when she was abandoned by Blake. This is how a bitter grief creates an important art. Here is the lyrics of the song of Back to Black.

Free Reflection Paragraph 2 : Dogs And Cats

There are both similarities and differences between dogs and cats. The first similarity is that both dogs and cats are pets. Both of them were tamed in the past. For example, one can easily bring up or live with a cat or a dog in his\her house. Secondly, they are mammals and omnivorous. Both give a birth without spawning, and they eat both meat and plants. On the other hand, cats and dogs have displayed differences. First of all, their attitudes towards to humans are different. Many people think that cats are more arrogant than dogs. This common belief is talked about in our daily lives. To illustrate, according to many people, while cats are ungrateful creatures, dogs are loyal. The second difference is that they come from different ancestors. Dogs’ origins are grounded on wolves and jackals; however, cats have roots of lions. Due to fact that they show many genetic disparities, their physical looking is different from each other obviously. Thirdly, despite the fact that their acts to any event, animal, thing, person can differ from time to time, they have special features about their motions. Cats are generally inactive, unruffled and cool in any place and time; hence, they are always seen as elite animals. Dogs are snappy, cheerful creatures dangling after their owners. For example, cats are wanted to be loved, but dogs want to love. In conclusion, these animals are similar in terms of their diets and capability of living with human, and they differ in terms of their actions, characters, and their roots.

Free Reflection Paragraph 1 : 5 reasons to speak English

The author of the article gave 5 top reasons to learn English that are really persuading for people who want to learn English. In my opinion, these might be guidance that makes people convinced about learning English. These reasons are: for travelling, for work, for academic studies, for the web, for your mind. Firstly, learning English for travelling is the logical reason that author gave. According to me, due to the fact that English is the international language, there are not any struggles for the learners who speak English. For example, one can go, travel everywhere in the world if s\he knows speaking English. There is no border in the world with knowing how to speak English. Secondly, author thinks that learning English for work is the important reason because of many reasons. I agree with him because the English not only international, but also official language. To illustrate, I think that if one wants to successful in his\her carrier, s\he should know how to speak English; hence one can easily find work in the international companies. Thirdly, according to author, by the help of the English, people can be participant of the top English, American universities. I think the same since much of the database and academic language are used in academic studies is English. I think that it is easier to have chance to studying these universities by speaking English. The fourth reason is for the web. Author mentioned that if you want to create your own website, you should know English. It is a logical reason for me because of irreplaceable of the internet. I assume that we can not do anything on the internet without help of the English language. The last reason is for your mind. Author thinks that learning English stimulates our brain and it is also fun for the learners. I accept that it is true in spite of all of it’s hardships. In my opinion, it is truethat it is stimulating. For example, while we are learning, we discover, find weird, exciting, funny things in our lives, so it helps us to develop our brains. To conclude, I have the same opinion with the writer that these reasons are the top and effective ones to learn English.
